On the 27th December, Emma & Matt fought through the crazy snow storms and married at the very beautiful Whitley Hall.
As every newlywed couple is, they were super excited to see the images from their special day but unfortunately they weren’t what they had hoped for. They didn’t have the look they had wanted and a few special shots had been missed.
There is always a massive pressure for wedding images as it is a day that simply can’t be repeated or replicated. Or is it???
A very disheartened Emma got in touch and asked how if it was possible to inject some of the famous JAM magic into her images.. As a loyal JAM follower, we of course said, “Yes!”
By mixing my Fine Art Wedding photography and a Creative Works session, we dreamt up this magical wedding winter wonderland.
A Creative Works session normally takes a while to design, and there is so much preparation goes into Fine Art Wedding Photography but with snow forecast for that very weekend, it was an opportunity we just could not resist. So we pulled out all the stops, out on locations scouts, prop hunts and late night crafting all week so we could pull it off.
Emma & Matt and the awesome Noah got all dressed up and tackled the snowy weather once more. And after a very early start, armed with the JAM van full of beautiful props (and hot water bottles) we were all set up waiting for their arrival!
The session flew by and we almost didn’t even notice the cold (almost!). Lex & Noah were very mischievous in the woods and managed to surprise Matt & Emma with LOADS of confetti, Noah got to walk his mum up the aisle again and we captured some very beautiful bridal portraits (but that wasn’t too difficult with a bride looking this stunning!)
But the cold did set in and eventually we called it a day, not before we captured all of these incredible images (and many many more).
Emma & Matt finally got the wedding images they had been dreaming of and have ordered some beautiful keepsake products so they can be treasured forever.
Thank you again Emma & Matt for letting JAM be part of your (second) special day xx
